When I was in Brownies, I made a plate for my parents. I drew a tent on it with the words "No fire alowd." And so began my life as a copywriter. (I try to spell better now.)
That brings me to one of my favorite words: serendipity.
It's largely responsible for taking me great places marketing for the world's largest environmental organization, running Antarctica's only newspaper and leading communication ideas for IKEA in Sweden ... and now as a freelancer based in wonderfully quirky and creative Portlandia.
